On 7 October 2026, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, launched the Create AI Agents Championship, with a prize pool of more than AED 2.5 million. It replaces the Create Apps Championship, which drew more than 15,000 apps from 153 countries since 2023.
Categories and prizes
- Best Societal AI Agent
- Best Personal AI Agent
- Best Business AI Agent
- Best Youth AI Agent, for entrants under 21
- Each category winner receives AED 550,000
- The overall AI Agent of the Year receives AED 1 million
Who can enter
Anyone, from anywhere. Entries can be ideas, early prototypes or minimum viable products. Fully commercialised products are not eligible, which makes it ideal for founders at the MVP stage.
How to prepare a strong entry
- Pick one clear user and one painful task the agent removes
- Show it working: a live MVP beats slides
- Explain how it is safe, accurate and hands over to a human when needed
- Show early users or pilot results
